This listing is for a reproduction 18th Century necklace made withmedium white Shell Pearls. Shell Pearls are beads made from the nacre of Pearls so they have the weight and shine of real Pearls without the high cost. There is a slender teardrop bead in the center. These beads measure 8mm.

This short necklace (13") is finished with two rings on the end, which you run a ribbon through to tie it on. 18th Century necklaces were meant to be worn very short on the neck in a true choker fashion, so the ribbons allow it to be totally adjustable to your neck.
